Dr. Lorne Aaron graduated from the McGill faculty of Medicine in 1991. He then went on to complete his residency in Urology at McGill University, obtaining his diplomas as a specialist in Urology at both the Collège des médecins du Québec and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1996.

He began practicing urology at l’Hôpital Anna-Laberge in Châteauguay in October 1996 and was chief of the Urology service from 1996 until 2001. As of 2001 he has been working at l’Hôpital Charles LeMoyne in Greenfield Park.

Dr. Aaron has been an active participant in the development of Urology in the province of Québec. He served on the administrative counsel of the Québec Urology Association (QUA) for over ten years and was President of the QUA from 2008 until 2010. He also served as the Québec representative on the socio-economic committee of the Canadian Urology Association for 6 years.

Dr. Aaron is a general Urologist with a special interest in prostate and bladder cancer. In addition to his interest in Urologic Oncology, Dr. Aaron also has expertise in treating all disorders of the prostate including benign prostatic hypertrophy, performing vasectomies and vasectomy reversals (vasovasostomies), urinary incontinence in women, and kidney stone management.
